Do you charge for estimates?

At NYC Stone Care, we never charge for estimates. Regardless of if you need marble restoration, granite polishing, or any other stone care service, our team will assess your project free of cost. We can schedule an on-site visit at your convenience to review the work and give you a clear, detailed proposal. With our 24/7 availability, you can request your free estimate anytime, day or night, and know exactly what to expect before work begins.

Do you will create dust?

At NYC Stone Care, we use advanced dust-containment methods to keep your home or business clean during stone restoration. Most of our work is done with water-based techniques that greatly reduce airborne particles. We also protect surrounding areas with plastic sheeting and clean up thoroughly before we leave. While minimal dust may occur, our process is designed to keep it to an absolute minimum so you can enjoy your space right away.

Do you care for your surroundings?

Yes. At NYC Stone Care, we take great pride in protecting your surroundings while we work. Before starting, we carefully cover nearby furniture, floors, and fixtures with protective materials to prevent any damage. We use safe, non-toxic products whenever possible and follow a thorough cleanup process so your space is left spotless.  Our team treats every property with the same care and respect as if it were our own.

Do you sub any work out to other contractors?

No. All work is performed by NYC Stone Care’s own trained and experienced technicians. We never outsource projects to other contractors because we believe in maintaining full control over the quality of our work. From the initial estimate to the final polish, every step is handled in-house by our dedicated team. This guarantees consistent results, clear communication, and the highest level of craftsmanship on every project we take on.

Do you charge extra for out of hours work on Domestic Jobs?

No. We do not charge extra for out-of-hours work on domestic jobs. No matter if you need us in the evening, early morning, or over the weekend, our rates remain the same.  We understand that flexibility is important for homeowners, so we work around your schedule without adding hidden fees. Our goal is to offer the same high-quality service and fair pricing, no matter when the work is carried out. 

Do you offer a consultation service for architects?

Yes. NYC Stone Care offers specialized consultation services for architects, designers, and project managers. We can advise on the best stone types, finishes, and maintenance plans to make sure of long-lasting beauty and performance. Our team offers technical insight, samples, and expert recommendations customized to your project’s needs. Regardless of if for new construction or restoration, we work closely with you to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional results. 

Do you supply any products and/or information for in-house maintenance of stone?

Yes. At NYC Stone Care, we offer both professional-grade products and expert guidance for in-house stone maintenance.   We can recommend the right cleaners, sealers, and tools for your specific stone type, along with clear instructions on how to use them. Our goal is to help you preserve the beauty and durability of your surfaces between professional visits, ensuring they remain in top condition year-round.

What is your customer service policy?

Simple, our clients are always only a phone call away from free advice whenever it is needed regarding stains, spillages, maintenance, damage or any other issues related to their natural stone. Commercial clients will have a 24hr mobile number which can be called in emergencies.

DO'S

    • Dust mop, Damp mop, and Dust mop. 
    • Clean natural stone surfaces only with natural cleaners or stone soaps. 
    • Pick up spills immediately by blotting with clean rag or white paper towel. 
    • Thoroughly rinse and dry the stone surfaces after washing. 
    • Use proper floor mats outside the door and inside. 
    • Damp mop your stone surfaces regularly. 

DON’TS

    • Use vinegar, lemon juice, glass ,bath room , grout tub and tile cleaners. 
    • Use other cleaners that containing acids on marble, travertine, limestone or onyx. 
    • Use abrasive cleaners such as soft scrub, dry cleanser or soft cleanser. 
    • Mix bleach and ammonia. It will create a toxic and lethal gas. 
    • Ever mix chemicals together unless directions instruct you to do so.
